Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, well-rounded remodeling carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and is ready to work on fireplace, hearth, chimney, and outdoor living projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform chimney sweeping, inspections, cleaning & maintenance
  • Diagnose chimney and fireplace safety issues
  • Complete masonry repairs & restoration work
  • Repair or rebuild crowns, caps, flashing, fireboxes & smoke chambers
  • Install chimney caps, dampers, liners & related components
  • Perform masonry waterproofing & repairs
  • Document inspection findings with photos and clear explanations
  • Educate homeowners on fireplace safety & proper maintenance
  • Work safely on roofs, ladders & elevated surfaces
  • Maintain clean, safe & professional jobsites

Requirements

  • 2+ years of chimney, masonry, construction, or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of chimney systems, fireplaces & masonry
  • Comfortable working on roofs, ladders & at heights
  • Ability to perform physically demanding, hands-on work
  • Strong problem-solving & attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
  • Commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship & professionalism
  • Willingness to learn, grow & pursue industry certification
